  • Apple isn’t signing iOS 6.1.x on latest devices such as the iPhone 5. If something goes wrong with your OS version during jailbreak or afterwards, there is no way to reinstall iOS 6.1.x. You will be forced to upgrade to the latest iOS 7 version. And no, you cant downgrade from iOS 7 to 6.1.x either on devices like the iPhone 5.
  • Make sure you backup all your data via iTunes or iCloud before going ahead with the jailbreak.
